Description

Apple iPhone Duo – The First Foldable iPhone with A20 Pro & 7.6-Inch Super Retina XDR Display

Meet the Apple iPhone Duo, Apple’s first-ever foldable iPhone, designed to completely redefine what a smartphone can do. Combining the familiar iPhone experience with an innovative foldable design, expansive dual-display system, powerful A20 Pro chip, advanced 48MP Dual Fusion camera system and intelligent iOS 27 features, iPhone Duo brings a new level of versatility to mobile technology.

When open, iPhone Duo gives you Apple’s largest iPhone display ever — an expansive 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display that is 50% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max. When closed, the compact 5.4-inch outer display makes the phone easy to hold and use with one hand.

For customers looking for the iPhone Duo in Kenya, Gshoppe Kenya brings this groundbreaking foldable iPhone experience closer to you.

The First Foldable iPhone

Apple has reimagined what an iPhone can be with the iPhone Duo foldable design.

Instead of being limited to a conventional smartphone form factor, iPhone Duo lets you open, close, stand and position the device in different ways depending on what you’re doing.

Open it for an expansive screen that’s ideal for entertainment and productivity. Close it for a compact smartphone experience. Place it at an angle for hands-free video calls or watching content.

The flexible design works together with specially developed iOS 27 experiences, allowing applications and controls to adapt between the inner and outer displays.

This makes iPhone Duo particularly useful for people who want a smartphone that can transition between communication, entertainment, creativity and productivity.

Massive 7.6-Inch Super Retina XDR Display

Open iPhone Duo and experience an incredible 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display.

The inner display uses wide-angle OLED technology and features a custom nano-texture finish designed to reduce glare and reflections. With up to 3,000 nits peak brightness and ProMotion up to 120Hz, content looks vibrant, detailed and fluid.

The large display provides substantially more room for browsing, gaming, watching movies, editing photographs and working across multiple applications.

The consistent aspect ratio between the inner and outer displays allows your content to transition naturally between screens.

When closed, the 5.4-inch outer display provides a convenient way to check notifications, use apps, browse and perform everyday tasks without opening the phone.

Reimagined iOS 27 for Foldable Productivity

iPhone Duo isn’t simply an iPhone with a folding screen. Apple has redesigned the software experience around the foldable form factor.

With iOS 27, you can take advantage of different orientations and viewing positions.

Use Split View multitasking to work with two applications side by side. For example, browse your Photos library on one side while dragging an image into Mail on the other.

You can also position iPhone Duo for hands-free FaceTime calls, watch videos at an adjustable angle or use the device in StandBy mode.

For professionals, students and multitaskers, the additional screen real estate can make everyday smartphone tasks more convenient.

A20 Pro Chip – Pro Performance

Powering iPhone Duo is Apple’s advanced A20 Pro chip, featuring a Dual 16-core Neural Engine designed to handle intensive AI workloads.

Apple states that the A20 Pro in iPhone Duo delivers up to 20% faster 6-core CPU performance than A19 Pro and up to 50% more memory bandwidth. An advanced thermal management system with a vapor chamber helps the device maintain performance during demanding tasks and gaming sessions.

Whether you’re gaming, editing photos, multitasking between applications or using Apple Intelligence features, iPhone Duo is designed to deliver powerful and responsive performance.

48MP Dual Fusion Camera System

Capture detailed photographs with the advanced 48MP Dual Fusion camera system.

The system combines a:

48MP Fusion Main camera
48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera
12MP Center Stage front camera
Under-display FaceTime camera

The high-resolution Fusion camera system delivers impressive image detail while giving you greater flexibility when composing photographs.

iPhone Duo supports 0.5x, 1x and 2x optical-quality zoom, allowing you to capture wide scenes, standard photographs and closer compositions without needing a dedicated telephoto camera.

Smart Take – Capture the Moment Hands-Free

One of the most interesting camera features on iPhone Duo is Smart Take.

Smart Take can detect when everyone is ready and automatically take the photograph, meaning you don’t have to rush into position before the timer runs out.

This is particularly useful for group photographs, family moments, travel photography and hands-free content creation.

Duo Preview – See the Shot Before You Take It

With Duo Preview, the person you’re photographing can see a live preview of the image on the outer display.

This makes it easier for friends, family members and subjects to adjust their pose and framing before you capture the photograph.

For creators and photographers, it also opens up new possibilities when using the foldable design to capture content.

Kid Cue & Duo FaceTime

Apple has also introduced features designed around family photography and communication.

Kid Cue uses playful animations on the outer display to naturally encourage children to look toward the camera.

Duo FaceTime allows nearby friends or family members to join a FaceTime call through the outer display, reducing the need for everyone to crowd around a single screen.

Combined with the foldable form factor, these features make iPhone Duo particularly versatile for video calls and group interactions.

4K Video Recording

iPhone Duo is designed for creators who want high-quality video directly from their smartphone.

The camera system supports 4K video recording at up to 120fps, giving you the ability to capture detailed, smooth footage.

You can also take advantage of features such as Cinematic mode, 4K Dolby Vision HDR time-lapse, smart focus tracking and low-light video capabilities.

Whether you’re creating TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube content, product videos or personal memories, iPhone Duo provides a powerful mobile camera platform.

Apple Intelligence & Siri AI

iPhone Duo is built around Apple’s latest intelligent features.

The A20 Pro chip and Neural Engine provide the processing power required for advanced on-device AI workloads.

Siri AI offers a more conversational and capable assistant experience, with features including personal context, app actions, world knowledge and Siri functionality integrated into the Camera experience.

Apple Intelligence also supports intelligent photo editing, Writing Tools, Visual Intelligence and other productivity features across iOS.

This makes iPhone Duo more than a foldable phone — it is a powerful AI-enabled iPhone designed to help you get more done.

Dual-Battery System for All-Day Power

Foldable phones require clever internal engineering, and iPhone Duo introduces an iPhone-first dual-battery system.

Apple designed the internal architecture to maximise space for battery capacity while maintaining the thin foldable form factor.

iPhone Duo provides up to 31 hours of video playback when using the inner display and up to 44 hours when using the outer display.

Fast wired charging can take the device to approximately 50% charge in around 20 minutes, while MagSafe wireless charging is also supported.

Premium Titanium Design & Durability

iPhone Duo combines innovative engineering with premium materials.

The foldable device features a Grade 5 titanium frame and hinge cover, Ceramic Shield on the front and back, and a scratch-resistant coating on the inner display.

Apple has also given iPhone Duo an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The hinge is engineered to provide smooth, balanced resistance as the device opens and closes, while the inner display is designed to provide a remarkably smooth viewing surface with reduced glare and reflections.

eSIM-Only Connectivity

iPhone Duo is eSIM-only worldwide, meaning there is no physical SIM card slot.

eSIM allows you to activate cellular service digitally, store multiple plans and switch between supported plans without physically changing a SIM card.

For travellers and users who manage multiple mobile plans, eSIM provides additional flexibility.

iPhone Duo also supports modern connectivity technologies including 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.

Up to 2TB Storage

Choose the storage capacity that fits your needs.

iPhone Duo is available in:

256GB
512GB
1TB
2TB

With up to 2TB of internal storage, iPhone Duo provides substantial space for photographs, 4K videos, applications, games, documents and other files.

The 2TB configuration is particularly useful for content creators and professionals who regularly work with large media files.

Apple Pencil Support

For users who want to use iPhone Duo as a more versatile productivity device, Apple confirms support for Apple Pencil (USB-C), with availability coming later in 2026.

The large 7.6-inch inner display creates additional possibilities for writing, sketching, annotating and creative work.

Touch ID for Secure Authentication

Unlike recent Face ID iPhones, iPhone Duo uses Touch ID integrated into the side button.

This provides a convenient authentication method whether the device is open or closed.

The placement also works naturally with the foldable design, allowing you to unlock and authenticate the phone without necessarily opening it.

iPhone Duo Colours

iPhone Duo is available in two distinctive finishes:

Night Sky
Star White

The premium finishes complement the titanium construction and minimalist Apple design.
