Weighing 215g and measuring 166.1 × 77.9 × 8.4 mm, it strikes a good balance between solid build quality and comfortable everyday use. This makes it a strong mid-range contender for value-focused buyers.
Performance & Software
Out of the box, the Realme C85 5G runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top. Powering the device is the capable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (6nm) chipset, delivering smooth daily performance, reliable multitasking, and light gaming without significant slowdowns.
With up to 256GB of internal storage and shared microSD support, the C85 5G offers plenty of space for apps, photos, videos, and work files—making it a solid all-rounder for both productivity and entertainment.
Camera Capabilities
For photography, the device features a 50MP single primary camera paired with an 8MP front-facing camera. Both cameras record 1080p video, which is more than sufficient for everyday content, social media, and casual videography at this price point.
Display Experience
The Realme C85 5G sports a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD that delivers an immersive viewing experience for movies, gaming, and browsing. With a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits, visibility remains clear even under harsh outdoor lighting—an advantage over many lower-priced and some mid-range competitors.
If you’re seeking an even better display, you’ll need to either increase your budget or explore alternatives from brands like Samsung or Xiaomi.
Connectivity & Features
As a true 5G smartphone, the Realme C85 5G allows for faster downloads, smoother streaming, and better online gaming in supported areas. Additional connectivity features include:
- Bluetooth 5.3 (A2DP, LE) for fast and stable pairing with earbuds, speakers, smartwatches, and TVs
- NFC support for seamless data sharing and contactless payments
These features make the phone highly versatile for both personal and professional use.
Battery & Charging
The biggest highlight of the Realme C85 5G is its massive 7000mAh battery. With typical use, you can easily enjoy 2–3 days of battery life on a single charge.
It also supports 45W fast wired charging, ensuring quick top-ups when power runs low.
When compared to phones like the Samsung Galaxy A26, Samsung Galaxy A36, and Samsung Galaxy A56, the Realme C85 5G clearly stands out in raw battery endurance. With reverse wired charging and bypass charging support, it doubles as a reliable power solution for other devices—excellent value for money.
