Blackview Mega 3 Kenya
The Blackview Mega 3 is a 12.1-inch Android 15 tablet that targets users who want a large, AI-capable screen without stepping into premium pricing territory. Released in June 2025, it stands out for its 2.5K IPS display, Helio G100 processor, and built-in Doke AI assistant powered by DeepSeek-R1, ChatGPT, and Gemini AI 2.0 Flash.
At 555g it is significantly lighter than the Blackview Active 12 Pro and closer to a true everyday carry. The 8,800mAh battery supports dual SIM 4G, making it a self-sufficient work and entertainment device without needing constant Wi-Fi.
Buyers comparing the Mega 3 against the Blackview Mega 8 , Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 , or Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 Pro will find it hits a practical middle ground of size, weight, and price.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. What makes the Blackview Mega 3’s AI features useful day-to-day?
The Doke AI apps include AI scan (identify objects, scan QR codes, look up prices), voice activation, and a general AI assistant. The voiceprint recognition adds a layer of personalised security – the voice unlock only responds to registered users.
Q2. Can the Blackview Mega 3 replace a laptop?
For light productivity tasks – documents, emails, video calls, and web browsing – yes. PC Mode and split-screen multitasking help.
For heavy creative work, coding, or running desktop-class apps, it is not a full laptop replacement.
Q3. Does the Mega 3 support Netflix HD?
Widevine L1 certification is not confirmed in public listings. If HD Netflix is a priority, verify with the seller at point of purchase.
Q4. How does the Mega 3 compare to the Blackview Mega 8?
The Mega 8 has a larger 13-inch screen and significantly bigger 11,000mAh battery, plus the newer Unisoc T620 chip. The Mega 3 is lighter (555g vs 736g), has a sharper 2.5K display, and uses the Helio G100 which offers better gaming performance.
Choose the Mega 3 for portability and display quality; choose the Mega 8 for maximum screen size and battery.
